I like how Zig Ziglar says it: “Does this action that I am about to take, get me closer to my goal, or take me further away”?

Good stuff (as usual) Ron, but you only scratch the surface of the mostly misunderstood concept known as "strategy".

For profit businesses must realize they exist first, to make money. Now, and to make more money in the future. Then, details like which activities to undertake, may be addressed in the proper light.

>> In every instance, ask yourself what the purpose of your action is.

I like how Zig Ziglar says it: "Does this action that I am about to take, get me closer to my goal, or take me further away"?

Until you have your strategy thought out, you simply cannot answer the really important queries. IMNSHO.
