Make Money with WordPress
WordPress is the best content management system in the world. Not because it has the most features, but because it is easy to set up, has great plugins, is open source (free), flexible, customizable and gets great search engine results.
Here are several ways to make money with WordPress.
- Build a WordPress Lead Generation Empire.
- Affiliate Sales – You can sell affiliate products via your WordPress blog.
- Membership Site – Make Money with a WordPress Membership Site
- AdSense – You may not make a fortune, but over time you can make money with Google Adsense.
- Sell MLM Products – You can use the WordPress site to generate leads for any product.
- Product Sales – WordPress gets the search engine results and you can sell products on the side.
- Advertising – People do pay for advertising once you have a decent page rank and traffic.
- Ebay – Make Money with your WordPress blog by promoting anything that you are selling in another place, like eBay or Craigslist.
- WordPress Design and Hosting – Once you become talented at WordPress, you can use your skills to host and design wordpress sites for businesses. Since you start with a good template, you do not need to be a designer from scratch.
There are many other ways to make money with wordpress. Only a few short years ago it seemed irresponsible to tell clients to use Open Source. Now I think it is irresponsible to NOT use open source, like WordPress, unless you have a very special need.

Google AdSense – Anyone can sign up for this service and 100% free to use. Google will display ads on your site and pay you when they get clicked on. This is by far the easiest way to make money with your site.
Very Recently, there has been a great deal of inquiries by the
US Federal trade comission against blogs and website promoters
for not stating advertising income, or potential
relationships with advertising networks.
What are your personal thoughts about how this could effect
the blog world?
Certainly an issue and not something I have looked at closely.
However, going forward I will not be using testimonials that have any specific claims. I never have tried to trick people or make exaggerated claims, so I am not too worried, but I will try to be more explicit in telling people when something is an affiliate link.
I am new to this and a little confused but I still don’t understand how you can make money because you are not allowed to put Google Adsense on to your blog. Am I missing something is there another step I need to take before this can take place. Would be really great full for any advise.
Do not use wordpress.com for a blog. Use wordpress opensource software that is free and easy to install. I use BlueHost to host many sites for under $10 per month. Then you can do anything with that site, including Google Adsense.
