When does more = better?

September 10, 2007

Usually, I am a fan of less.  I skim, and I do not care for long blog posts.  However, the comprehensive interview by Tamara Adlin of Seth Godin is interesting and impressive in it’s detail.  If you are a fan of interviews, take a look.

hey, thanks for the mention Ron!
I know…I agree about long posts. But these people are so interesting I just can’t cut them down. And the interview with seth was just killer…I figure I’m going to capture what I can when I can, and post it, and what happens, happens. If you can think of more folks you’d like to see interviewed, or if your readers think of folks, let me know.

Your work looks very cool. I’ll keep my eye out for you!

I’m not a big fan of long overdone posts, because they are usually filled with fluff with a few hard points thrown in.

That’s exactly what Tamara doesn’t do here. She kept the interview going in the direction she wanted it to go, and made sure that the content would be interesting and relevant to her readers at. That must have been a task in itself, because Seth has a way of controlling the tempo of his interviews.

If anyone has any suggestions on who you would like to see Tamara should interview next. Post them at: http://freshpeel.com/2007/09/not-another-seth-godin-interview/

Tamara and I have already been dialogging on the possibilities.

Got something to say?
