I find it easiest to surround myself with the positive as much as possible, read books that boost my spirits and slowly try to bring around those less positive people in my life. It is easy to get excited about something, and then most people are disappointed when it doesn't happen overnight or as expected. The practical approach is that this stuff takes time - you might get lucky - but have a long term view. #5 Omer - You are right. Advice I gave last year is obsolete.
