Hi Aaron,

Certainly it depends on the industry and the employee base. It is ridiculous if you have a factory. It is ridiculous if you have a very large organization. It is ridiculous if you do not believe everyone in your organization is passionate enough or smart enough.

I intentionally wrote this one to get a bit more conversation going. I know it is an ideal that in most cases cannot be realized, but creating a culture of buzz can turn most employees into better advocates.

Thanks for the comment.

Ron,

Forgive my bluntness, but your theory on hiring all salespeople is ridiculous. I suggest you go back to the basics. . .Business Theory 101.

ever since I read your book I have been driving this idea into our staff. We are all very passionate about our company and will make a point to look for this in future employees in the hiring process and use it in training.

That's a great challenge to all of us Ron. If we don't believe we're in sales, why are we in business? If I'm not excited about where I work, why not? What would it take to get me excited about sharing the name of my firm with the world? Probably more about how I think than how the company is.

I've told you this before, and I'll say it again now: I'd formally work for Buzzoodle any day of the week my friend. Now if you could just afford to employ me... :)
