Ron,

My husband (also a Ron) and I enjoyed your interesting ideas at the Designing For Profits conference in Atlanta. We bought your book and fought over who would get to read it first. (He knows I am an avid highlighter!!!) He won and read it on the flight home but I devoured it that evening. WOW! We are on the verge of opening a new showroom for our growing design business so this was absolutely timely information. We hope to be sharing our success story with you in the near future. Now go get that young entrepreneur of yours a horse. ;-)

Hi Ron,

I am an Account Exec. for DRTV Productions in Melbourne, FL. We are DR Ad Agency that specializes in DR television and video. The term "lens" is a new one for me. I see the word used in relation to blogs. What does it mean? Also, do you know any other good advertising/marketing blogs that I should check out?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Ron,
Plus, plus, plus. You did a wonderful presentation at the Designing Profits, Inc. Conference. You've opened up a whole new idea of marketing for us all by creating Buzz. I asked you the question about the Pod Casting, and I saw that you referenced it in your "Buzzoodle" Book.
I read your book on the plane back to L.A. I plan to go back through it and highlight, as well as have my Sr. Designer, Jackie, read it. She doesn't know it, but since she's so bubbly and loves to chat, she's going to be in charge of our Blogging.
Thanks again for the new information and encouraging our use of technology.

Bye for now,

Hi Ron:
I just wanted you to know that we were listening. This afternoon the three of us from Corporate Design Group that attended the conference together, sat down and created our initial game plan. We’re going to “noodle our Buzzoodle” ideas with the rest of the associates at our staff meeting this Thursday, and we know our enthusiasm will be infectious. It will be fun to see what ideas the group comes up with to enhance our list.

Thanks for your fun and useful Buzz tips. You were my favorite speaker at the conference. Just listen for our buzz….. we’ll be out there.

Hi Ron,

I got so many ideas from both your presentation and book that I have already started to implement several of them! My daughter is a graphic designer and we already have an idea for a book.

I will keep you posted on my Buzzoodling adventures!

To change the subject just a little...I didn't get a chance to talk to you in Atlanta, but your story of your daughter wanting a horse hit quite a nerve. I thought you would like to hear mine. As I said, my daughter is a graphic designer. She is now 25 and lives in San Antonio. When she turned 7 she asked us if she could have a horse (she had been taking lessons for about a year) and our answer was, "Yes, if you can save up or earn the money to purchase one." Well, shortly before her 13th birthday, she and her trainer come to us with the horse they had selected and she had saved and earned the money to buy him.

This was one of the best things we ever encouraged her to do, for the same reasons you discussed, (money management, business savy, goals, etc.) but also for the relationship she built with the animal and the people she associated with. The horse she bought was young and green but by the time she finished high school she was competing in Dressage and Hunter Jumper competitions all over the state. When she left for college she took him with her and they competed on the university polo team. She has made lasting friendships and relationships, learned much about being on a team, running an organization (she was both secretary and president) and had a lot of fun.

She makes her home now in San Antonio and still has "Mighty Revenue" with her. She would love to hear from your daughter sometime. Her name is Bonnie and her email address is: <strike>removed</strike>

Hi Ron,

I think it's 11pm where you are, so I have a feeling that you're doing the same thing I am. I just created my first lens in Squidoo.com and am working on the blog.

The conga line was just the tip of the iceberg with this group -- you should see us when we've had some tequila!

Just like Casey, I read your book, and highlighted about 20 tactics that I intend to implement right away.

Google us at Revenge Decor or Divorce Decor in a day or two to see just how jazzed I was about your ideas!

ps: I hope the kid gets her horse...
